When you have a spinal cord injury, life as you know it changes forever.
Recovery is possible, and there is potential to make progress even years after your injury.
At the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury, we strive to help children and adults with chronic paralysis find new hope through activity-based restorative therapy, helping them regain some sensation, function, mobility and independence months — or years — after their diagnosis.
Share The Hope, Triple Your Impact!
Kennedy Krieger Institute’s International Center for Spinal Cord Injury at Maple Lawn has far exceeded original patient visit projections and we’re now treating hundreds of individuals each month.
To accommodate the needs of our patients and in response to our ever-growing waiting list, we are expanding our medical staff and need additional space for patient appointments. An adjacent space is available in Maple Lawn that could be built out for this purpose and philanthropy is needed to help us secure the space and prepare the building for occupancy.
The Robert I. Schattner Foundation, Inc. has generously agreed to TRIPLE every donation received for the Maple Lawn medical expansion. That means your $100 donation becomes $300; $1,000 becomes $3,000! Click on the “GIVE” button to visit our online donation page. Thank you for your support!
